Jeanette Lynes is back in town with John Clare, her Saskatchewan Award winning book.
Jeanette Lynes’ seventh book of poetry, Bedlam Cowslip: The John Clare Poems (wolsakandwynn, 2015), won the 2016 Saskatchewan Arts Board Poetry Award, and was shortlisted for Book of the Year at the 2016 Saskatchewan Book Awards. Her first novel, The Factory Voice, was long-listed for the Scotia Bank Giller Prize and a ReLit Award. With David Eso Jeanette co-edited Where the Nights are Twice as Long: Canadian Poets’ Love Letters (Goose Lane Editions, 2015). Her poetry recently appeared in Gutter Magazine (UK) and will soon appear in Prairie Fire. Jeanette recently presented five readings of her poetry at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She directs the MFA in Writing at the University of Saskatchewan.
