Madhur Anand’s thought-provoking poetry has a naturalist’s eye for detail and patterns.
Madhur Anand's acclaimed debut collection of poems is A New Index for Predicting Catastrophes (McClelland & Stewart/Penguin Random House Canada, April 2015). It was a finalist for the Trillium Book Award for Poetry. Her more recent work appears in The Rusty Toque and The Walrus. Anand co-edited the anthology Regreen: New Canadian Ecological Poetry (2009). She is an ecology professor in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph.
