D.A. Lockhart is the author of The Gravel Lot that was Montana (Mansfield Press 2018), This City at the Crossroads (Black Moss Press 2017), and Big Medicine comes to Erie (Black Moss Press 2016). His work has appeared in the Malahat Review, Grain, Hart House Review, McNeese Review, and Contemporary Verse 2 and has received much support from the Ontario Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts. He is a pùkuwànkoamimëns of the Lenape nation and currently resides in Waawiiyaatanong.

Jamaal Jackson Rogers

Voice + talent + passion = Poet Laureate
Jamaal Jackson Rogers is an award winning Poet Laureate, arts educator, creative entrepreneur, and performance artist. He has brought his work to audiences locally and internationally and his defining moments are when he makes intimate connections with his participants during his workshop exchanges and performance sets. His topics range from emotional maturity to social justice, from parenting to the human condition. He resides in Ottawa, Canada, using the capital and his performance studio, THE ORIGIN ARTS & COMMUNITY CENTRE as his launch pad to teach, mentor and advocate for the arts.
