Conyer Clayton is an Ottawa based writer who aims to live with compassion, gratitude, and awe. She has two chapbooks out: For the Birds. For the Humans. (battleaxe press, 2018), and The Marshes (& Co Collective, 2017), and more forthcoming in 2018. Her work appears in Prairie Fire, The Fiddlehead, The Maynard, In/Words, Bywords, Transom, and others. She won Arc's 2017 Diana Brebner Prize, 3rd place in Prairie Fire's 2017 Poetry Contest, and honorable mention in The Fiddlehead's 2018 poetry prize. Nathanaël Larochette

Words and music mingled
Nathanaël Larochette is an Ottawa-area poet, composer and guitarist in both the chamber folk trio Musk Ox and the progressive metal band The Night Watch. He has been performing spoken word for over a decade, has released eight albums and has performed in ten countries. He most recent release "Earth and Sky" is an instrumental double album consisting of solo classical guitar compositions and ambient electric soundscapes. Nathanaël lives to create, hope, and dream because he believes these are the keys to the meaning of our being.

Whitney French

Writer, storyteller and multi-disciplinary artist.
Whitney French is a writer, storyteller and multi-disciplinary artist. She's been published in a couple of places but she takes more pride in the community she builds than the things she produces. Whitney also the founder and co-editor of the nation-wide publication From the Root Zine as well as the founder of the workshop series Writing While Black: an initiative to develop a community of black writers. Whitney French is presently working on an anthology of creative nonfiction by black Canadians for the University of Regina Press.
