Margaret Zielinski was born in Scotland and educated there as well as in England and Canada. Her work has been widely published in literary journals and anthologies, including Aesthetica (UK), The Antigonish Review , Bywords , Contemporary Verse 2 , The Dalhousie Review , Geist , Quills , Room, Soundings and A Crystal through which Love Passes: glosas for PK. Page (Buschek Books ), Untying the Apron (Guernica). Twice short-listed for Arc Poem of the Year, she was also longlisted for the International Montreal Poetry Prize, 2011. She has published a chapbook, Driftwood , and, together with five other poets, Whistle for Jellyfish (Bookland Press, 2011).
